"For a 2-star property, I give B&B Hotel Verdun 5 stars. It is a basic hotel, but a good stop for seeing the area, the battlefields and forts. The staff is very nice. FYI, there are stairs, no elevator. The rooms are not large, but they work for a 1-night stay. Breakfast was pastries, granola, yogurt, beans, mushrooms, toast. "Beautiful old and charming hotel that is family run. This hotel is set in a small town very close by to a number of WW1 historical sites. The staff was very friendly and the meals served in the dining room were excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel if wanting to stay off the beaten path.
