"Bon Azur Beachfront Suites & Penthouses by LOV This place is amazing!!! We were in Mauritius on business and decided to spend half of the trip in an apartment and half in a 5 star hotel. This place is as good as a 5 Star hotel! It is so good to be able to shop at the Mauritian supermarkets (Super U 15 minutes away by car) and buy the lovely local produce and cook a nice meal on the bbq and relax with Pheonix beer and wine overlooking the beach at sunset! "Perfect spot for an active retired couple. We spent a week in apt during our month touring Mauritius, Rodrigues and La Reunion. For this stay we didn’t have a car and used the local buses to get to Grand Bay and Port Louis and walked along the coast in both directions. Our daily house keeper Rka was lovely. She brought papaya from her garden and told us which buses to catch to get around much cheaper than Taxi’s. There is a supermarket about a 20 mins walk away and a smaller shop within 300...

"A well equipped apartment of good size. Hassle free arrival and departure. Two bedrooms each en-suite with aircon and an open plan lounge / kitchen with wrap around veranda. It felt very private. The beach close by appears to be mud so no swimming there but beautiful beaches at Le Morne."

"Lift wasn’t working for 3 days of our stay. The bathroom sink was not cleaned as is was mouldy. Reasonable location as you can walk to the beach."

"On our arrival date, the owner told us that they have misread our arrival date and thought we would arrive one day later, the property was over booked, so they led us to the next property, Sunset Villa, that property Sunset Villa was a downgrade from Blue Lagoon Villa which we have originally booked on. After half an hour lying on the big bed, I had 9 bug bites all over my body, on my arms, my legs and my back, could not sleep, so I had to switch to the smaller bed. We would not recommend this...

"I paid for a studio but was upgraded to a one bedroom at check-in. I received a complimentary drink while I was being checked in and I really needed that as I was exhausted. The staff was awesome, they were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was the same daily, this needs to be improved on, they should have a wider selection. Overall, I had a good time."

"We visited the resort with our 2 kids, came from Turkey and stayed there for 4 happy days. The resort has a vintage beauty. We arrived there early, after a long, exhausting flight, but, the hotel was full and they couldn't give us a room before 15:00. However, they were kind and sincere and tried their best to help us. We tried the main restaurant and the snacks restaurant by the pool. Breakfasts were accompanied by beautiful birds and dinners by mystical frog sounds. Food options were mostly spicy, a little different for our taste but we didn't struggle finding options, more importantly, for the kids. They were very helpful changing the listed menu item and preparing foods according to our taste. My husband once had allergic symptoms, but the staff was very helpful, and stayed alert to bring us to the hospital quickly in case of an emergency. I wouldn't say that they were extremely professional because, in a place full of coconut trees, they said they "may" provide it only after 3-4 days. The pool was perfect for kids, the sand was beautiful; while you are chilling, kids can play safe and free. The boutiques were also nice with honest sellers. We stayed in a villa, upper floor, the garden was dreamy (but saw a dead bird not taken for days). Our room was beautiful, moderately clean, bathrooms were tired, the main bed was comfy but the sofa bed was NOT. Bottled waters provided once and should be filled using fountains (kids loved it). Overall, it was a nice experience for us."
