"Great quiet location. Friendly staff, from reception, bar staff, chef & house staff. Grounds looked like the brochure including the resident ducks that looked a picture waddling around the grounds.. The kitchenette suite was lovely includes balcony that overlooking the green. Dinning- Evening meals were perfect. Prices were good & the beer was cold. Breakfast- Full breakfast was value for money at $25-$30 . Only thing that could be faulted was the hallway carpet could do with a little attention. "

"Convenient location if travelling by car. Nice view and balcony. My daughter loved the pool and playground and the kangaroos. Bar and restaurant on site was good. Meals great. Beers expensive. Towel and cleaning service was extra and pricey, a four night stay, it would have been nice to get clean towels just once."

"We had the Fire and Forage dinner and continental breakfast package. The dinner was lovely and the setting was perfect. We had the outdoor area to ourselves. The room had great character and was very comfortable."

"Was dubious after reading other reviews. For the price of the room we were pleasantly surprised and would stay there again. I would give it a three star rating out of five. Obviously the rooms could be improved but we were quite comfortable. "

"Only issue was the Ack of free parking. The parking lot for the hotel was full most of the time and was not always hotel guest using it. Parking across the street was paid parking, not to expensive so it was available."
