"Booked this for my mum and aunty, they said the room had everything they needed and service was amazing. They loved the location, not far from the market and would definitely stay here again. Thank you."

"Had a fantastic time. Reception manned 24hrs and all the staff were very helpful and answered any questions we had. Breakfast was delicious, different every day including local dishes. Room was nice and cool, had a fridge to keep drinks cold and kettle to make tea or coffee. TV had a choice of channels. Room cleaned daily. Had a patio to sit outside with chairs and table. Also could sit by or swim in pool."

"The Lava Hotel is lovely place to stay. The Staff is welcoming, accommodating and friendly. The food is delicious. There is live entertainment on certain days. The location is in a village which gives the atmosphere you would want when trying to be absorbed in the Samoan culture. From the island’s warm breeze to its beautiful surroundings, you would be transported to tranquility. I highly recommend this hotel to any travelers looking for authenticity. "

"Obviously new rooms but amenities were still being developed. Great staff make up for this. Found both service charges and rooms quite pricey after being in Kuala Lumpar 5 Star hotels and were a lot cheaper than Sheraton Aggies. Found booking by internet Expedia cheaper than if you book by telephone or locally. At least a third cheaper, I asked they couldn’t explain why?"

"The location is ideal and within walking distance of shopping and eating outlets in Apia. The staff is welcoming, helpful and attends to requests quickly."

"Loved how clean the property was. Carparking was small and hard to get out of due to having to reverse. Upon check in, I was asked for payment when I had already paid online via Expedia, staff member asked for a receipt as proof of this, would have thought this should had been updated on their system already. "
