"This review is split into 2 parts.. we shall start with the positives. Food here was lovely and the waiting staff were helpful and responsive even with our very limited German. "We were looking for a place to stay between Vienna and Pisa and we found Strandhotel Faak along the way at a reasonable price. The staff was attentive and very pleasant (they spoke English in addition to several other languages). The breakfast was included and was very good (e.g. eggs made to order). "The customer service at this hotel was terrible! To simplify to a couple words "They didn't give a s***". 1. There is a boat that goes from mainland to the island where the hotel is. The boat does not run if there are thunderstorms. No one from the hotel notified us about this and told us that the boat is NOT running now and we can not get to the hotel tonight. We were lucky enough to walk down to the dock and the boat was thankfully still running. BUT if the boat had not been we would've had...
