"We booked a stay at this hotel based on reviews and photos but to be honest we did not even check in. When we arrived, we walked up the "hill" to the entrance and there was literally no sign of life. Doors and windows were shut - we did not see any people or hear noises. We did not even see a store of any kind. My apologies to the host, but when we arrived, we saw a sign "be back soon" and we decided this was not the place for us to stay. We arrived relatively late and while we couldn't eat at the restaurant we're given wonderful a recommendation for a nearby place in walking distance. "We added a 3rd day to our stay. The location just a bit east of Sutri is ideal for visiting Etruscan sites, though Google Maps complicated our arrival, suggesting we needed to drive kilometers past the hotel and then approach from the east. We stayed for the great service but encourage anyone who wants to discover a beautiful, less visited part of Italy to enjoy this area and all it offers making this comfortable property your base. And do yourself another favor by eating dinner at the hotel at least one night."
