"We enjoyed a one night stay on a Wednesday evening during our driving trip in the area. If you cannot obtain one of the free parking spots, there is free parking a block or two away in a parking area by the river. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We received breakfast with our stay and decided to eat dinner at the hotel restaurant as we were tired from driving. It was a great choice for both meals. Das Mobiliar meines Zimmers war zwar nicht das modernste allerdings alles schön sauber und für Geschäftsreisende das wohl wichtigste: Ein sehr bequemes Bett. Sehr liebes und nettes Personal. "Definitely made the right choice picking this hotel, an easy flat 10 minute walk from the train station, just inside the city walls, spotlessly clean, comfortable room, bathroom gleaming, heating that actually worked, great staff, would pick this hotel again no problem. A lovely Italian restaurant a couple of doors away if you get sick of German food. Very well located...just pick a street and wander, it's an amazing town"

"The hotel is great!! Staff is very friendly. It’s been family owned for 120 years and you can tell they love it. Breakfast was amazing!! Location is great too. Definitely book this hotel. Unfortunately the Expedia pictures and descriptions of the quad room is not accurate. "
