"This hotel was one of the most gorgeous properties I have ever stayed at. It’s hard to overstate how beautiful it was inside the hotel and the rooms. The staff was more than welcoming and remembered us immediately. The food offered by the hotel was phenomenal, really providing a taste of Morocco. They offered to set us up with a licensed tour guide to take us around the Medina. Everything was immaculate and would stay here again! The only downside was the Spa didn’t seem accommodating to booking...

"Mazar is a wonderful Riad. It’s stunning inside, with clean and comfortable beds. The staff is fantastic: warm hospitality, expert recommendations, and delicious breakfast. The Riad is at the edge of the Medina, so it’s close to the windy madness of the shouks but close to taxis and transport to other parts of Fez. Would absolutely stay there again. "

"2nd time staying here, perfect hotel, clean, quiet, beautiful room, comfortable bed, good food especially Friday special cous cous was delicious just like homemade and Moroccan dessert was also delicious. One negative: not a good experience at the spa- the steam room didn’t work properly, which is the whole point of hammam- you need to spend time in the hot steam room before the scrub for the best results. "Very much enjoyed our short stay - very nice hotel near the entrance to the Medina, so access from our car was easy. Note that if you want to have dinner there, one needs to give them notice early in the day or they may not be able to accommodate you with a full meal. Good to know because dining options in the Medina itself seem limited."

"Terrable Staff, Ancient, This hotel is worst, very old furniture, meesy, and the worst staff. Very Old Towels, they won’t give more than a towel. No Toiletries. Very horrible experience of all the trip."

"Excellent, clean and cozy riad with ample breakfast and centrally located. By far the best riad we stayed in. We had a second floor room and had quite a lot of stairs to climb, so if you have a lot of luggage, kids or mobility issues you may want to keep this in mind and ask for a first floor room if that works for you. Staff was attentive and kind. "

"We loved the property and the staff, but we did not like the room where we stayed. I understand how Riad is made, but still, the design of these rooms induces claustrophobia and is simply a waste of space inside the room. "

"our family loved this hotel experience the most of our two week trip. The owner, who is charm personified, has spent a lot of time, energy and money into rebuilding this traditional Riad into an eye popping beauty. Fez is quite a challenging city as a tourist and it was lovely to have a haven to return to. "The riad is in a very convenient location and walkable to everywhere. The staffs are nice and friendly. The breakfast was good. WiFi worked well. However the hot water is not enough for two people to take shower. You have to wait at least half hour. "

"Hotel room was a twin room and was absolutely fine. Clean beds, floor, great location with train station and taxi stand. Pool area very relaxing. Plenty of food options for cheap nearby. Check in was simple. Decent price. Would be using it again in future for any trips to Fes. Only small issue would be nice to have few more sockets for electronics but not a big deal at all."

"Very basic services. No alcohol available. 2 small bottles of water even if stayed for a year. You must buy your own. Cannot get any small change for tips. Breakfast vey good. Asked for a quiet room and got on on Main Street 6 lanes and thousands of motorcycles. They changed me but to a smaller room. "
