I received a message from Hilton to download their app and use it to do check-in and I could select my room. I vape so I selected a room on the first floor next to an outside door. When the app told me my room was ready, I was given a completely different room on a different floor. The room was spacious with a king bed and pullout couch, but the garbage disposal and the microwave in the kitchenette area did not work. The front desk told me I did not get the room I selected because it had either not been cleaned or because of maintenance. The fact that I had selected the room almost 24 hrs in advance and the fact that the garbage dispoal and microwave was not working in the room I was given does not excuse either of their explanations. For $150/night, I expect better and cannot recommend this hotel. The complimentary breakfast was also average at best. If you have a family member at the nearby Sanford Medical Center, this is a close, convenient location, but otherwise I would not recommend it.
