"We had a wonderful experience at The General Stanton Inn - it was a last minute booking and we were SO happy with our experience! The decor and attention to detail was charming the rooms were beautifully done and the bathroom remodel in our suite was magnificent! The Tavern was amazing, the food delish….the bartenders were great but Christina was on point! The history added to the charm of the Inn! Well done David & Jackie well done! We will certainly be back!!"

"Beautiful Inn close to restaurants and shopping and yet tucked away in a charming neighborhood. Room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the fireplace in our room on a chilly night. Reasonable price. Highly recommend. "

"We stayed for my friends wedding and they were great with letting me check in early for a very small fee. It was helpful because my daughter needed her nap! They upgraded us to an ocean view room which was absolutely beautiful with a balcony. Very clean room, would definitely stay again. "

"The buildings needed some basic maintenance on the outside - paint, repairs to some old wood, etc. But the room was nice quite large. And in goof condition. The jetted in-room tub wss wonderful. The breakfast was just a few carry-out type items but they didn't promise a full breakfast so it was OK. Convenient to Mystic Area. "
