"This place was horrible. A nightmare in China! I woke up with bed bugs and I saw cockroaches crawling in kitchen during dinner. I don’t know how ppl rate it so high. I guess it is good if you are looking for something very cheap, but you get what you pay for! You were warned. "

"Advertised as a private room but was actually a dorm (same story reported by other travelers). Sheets instead of curtains. Told off for talking at 11pm. Noisy repairs underway from 7am. Floors never swept, tables sticky. Gave the property 3 days notice I would be leaving early but they still refused even a partial refund for the remaining nights, leaving me hundreds of dollars out of pocket. Absolute money grubbing. Stay away."

Great location which is convenient to the airport, great wall tours and on the metro central loop line. There are lots of great restaurants near the station. "Upon arrival, my booking could not be found for approximately 20 minutes which was inconvenient. The room was spacious (shared female dorm room for 6 people) but the beds had to be made ourselves and the mattresses were extremely thin so it was a hard surface to sleep on. There was extremely bad wifi at the room, it was too weak to load websites. The showers were warm and the bathroom facilities were generally good. "The hotel was pretty decent and in a friendly neighborhood. There is a bus station a few meters away and a subway station about 5 minutes from there. If you're used to the subways system, maneuvering Beijing won't be a problem. I easily located the Forbidden city. The rooms are quite clean and the bed I can't complain about. "Dragon hostel is quiet and clean with great access to the National Art Museum (NAMoC) and Beihei park. My room was simple, had good aircon, and a good bed. There is no road noise and the location is very quiet. easy access to Dongsi Metro station. The wifi is slow and intermittent but otherwise still useful. the staff are always available and speak english. I would stay again given the location."

"We stayed for my friend’s birthday. The hotel was very accommodating and the room was incredibly clean and lovely. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn’t available so our room was too hot to sleep comfortably. The hotel provided a fan, but it was still hotter than we’d prefer. The Butterfly Brunch was delicious and the lounge service was great. We will definitely be back for both. "

"Given the age of the hotel, there is some wear and tear in the rooms. But, the staffs were very nice and accommodating. They even brought an air cooler to our room since there is no air condition during winter. The best part of the hotel are the staffs, they were very helpful and friendly. I didn’t get everyones name but thank you Ivanka and team."

"The location is very central. It's right next to a subway station, just a few blocks way from the Tiananmen square and within walking distance from the Forbidden city. The staff, Lucky, James and Amber are very helpful and nice. However, the TVs are small, shower drain and hinge were a bit rusty, the heater was not controlable, and light switches were not labeled. Overall, it's really good for the price "

"A wonderful hotel with helpful front desk staff. Breakfast has many options, including coffee station, juice station, western and Chinese foods, amd fresh fruits. Has a nice fitness center. Walking to distance to fast food options, like KFC and a mall with upscale stores and Wumart, which is a grocery store. I highly recommend this hotel."

"Nice for hanging out and walking around for shopping and visiting museums. Not far from Beijing capital international airport. Very convenient for travel to different locations. Nearby subway stations. Only thing is room not that big but still good for two people have good time there. Good breakfast. West food and local style. "
