It's my second time staying here, and the room I got this time was nicer as the floors had been remodelled (no more carpet). Location is great. Some dust in the bathroom door, but rest of the bathroom was clean. Beds have wheels so they move quite easily on the new floors, but it's not a big deal for me. Overall, great value for money. Walkable to MCEC, southern cross station and city centre.

Won’t stay again. Told reception I was Expedia Gold, checked me into a room that smelled like wet dog. I had to show the VIP list of amenities to the receptionists….got the bottle of wine as it wasn’t offered. I was love to a room on the top floor and this had an in room safe that wasn’t attached to a hard surface. I could put it under my arm and walk out with it. Shower pressure was very poor and basin faucet came out too fast….drenched the front of me on a few occasions. 3cm of dust in the vent above the toilet. Previous guests’ rubbish was found under the bed. Thick dust in the base boards. Best part of the stay was the delicious cooked breakfast and the best coffee. Much nicer places to stay than in Melbourne. Give this “boutique” hotel a miss.

The best place to stay on the mountain for a price
"Great amazing central position. But be warned the music plays all day can be tiresome. But does shut off not too late. The spa was amazing and super hot. Lacking in privacy but still great. Clean neat well looked after. Would stay again."
