I was just surprised, I tough it was a hotel, i had booked 15 days, it said bathrooms and showers i did not know they were shared showers, i had to pay extra 200 pounds to adf for a tiny shower, a smelly moldy bathroom. I was going to cry the 1st night i had paid a taxi to make it there a lots of money to find myself in an isolated area, noisy, dirty carpets, the smell was terrible, i had a very hard time adjusting to deal with sharing a kitchen, no stores around my delivered groceries were expensive, the worse thing, the only day I allowed cleaning they told me to leave the room and my fathers ring he gave me before his passing 2 years ago , blue lapiz worth a lots of money dissapear , i spend so much money in a horrible place to me it was. I al so regretful i made such a big mistake NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Expedia sucks! To allow to post this missleading offers 😓 sad , DONT book , i wonder if is healthy.

Bed bugs were irritating us and out side light was visible and irritating us could not sleep due to terrible environment overall.bathroom was very bad also we have to pay over the counter ten pounds to take a bath in a basic room.never recommend this hotel wasting of money

Assumed en suite. WRONG Only wash basin in room. There are some en-suites, but confirm when booking. No kettle tea/coffee kit making supplied in this room. However GOOD facilities in ground floor kitchen, fridges/freezers disposables. (bring all your own ingredients) "New" disabled shower/bathroom 1st floor. Popular with budget/ backpackers ? Good price at busy season. 3x dearer at T/Lodge next door or Premier inn 400yds away. Convenient location near Kelpies metal statues & Falkirk "Wheel". Quiet night-hand written signs make it clear management will eject you for noise. One ceiling light only in room. One plastic garden chair Warm enough, quiet night, rested well, if sparsely. Free parking. Would stay again-wife might not.

Unfortunately the room I was given smelt strongly of urine, possibly from the carpet. The bed was clean but mattress was very hard and uncomfortable so overall did not induce a good nights sleep.

Great concept but room for improvement
Check in involves a counter so high that I couldn't see receptionist - which felt unfriendly and meant I couldn't hear her either, because I am hard of hearing, and I lipread. But when you go round the side, you can see her, and she was friendly. My room was clean, my bed comfortable, and i could fault nothing. Hostess tray and complimentary toiletries supplied. But my friend next door had a room (243) that stank of cigarettes, the mugs were dirty, paint half off windowsill. When I told reception that her room reeked of smoking, response was merely, 'Oh dear, that should have been dealt with'. She had no toiletries so I gave her mine. I liked the set up with kitchen where I could heat up my own meals. But I couldn't find any recycling receptacle for cardboard etc, so I took mine home.

We used it as an overnight stay between visiting the Highlands and returning our car back in Edinburgh, so we only used this accomodation for sleeping. The place is basic, but cheap. You get what you paid; for a room with a bed. Room was clean as well as the towels and sheets. Shared bathroom facilities were also fine. For us, it was cheaper than a hostel and we had our own room so great.
