"It was more comfortable than I taught. For the price of each night, it exceeded it. A walking distance to the train station. It’s clean, easy to locate. Direction on how to access the building was clear. The room was sizeable, although it a shred bath and toilet, they were clean. I will recommend if you are staying a night or two."

"Pretty good all round - clean, nicely appointed and comfortable but with one major flaw. The boiler works away all night and with a late night and then an early rise the next day was a little disappointing and made sleeping soundly very difficult. 9/10 with the exception of the boiler noise "

"I would say overall that the property is okay or average. For two adults, both of whom are between six feet tall and over, it felt a little cramped. The cleanliness is average due to the fact that some of dressers and tables were a little rickety or had stains on them when we came in. No bugs of any kind, however, which was great. There are plenty of pots and pans, kitchen utensils for cooking, however there was no cookie or baking sheet so you'd have to use tin foil or buy a cooking pan....

"This is a lovely house. Spacious, but still cosy in winter. Very close to a good bus route into Oxford. Even though it is near to Oxford centre, the house and garden are very private, down a quiet lane Everything was spotless, and the kitchen island was a great place for the family to prepare meals together. "Room was beautiful and modern bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Other guests were loud agressive - a security guard was loudly attending to “Sean” at 3 am as he’d been disturbing everyone with drunken behaviour. Took ages to get back to sleep. "

"Great hotel for any stay in Oxford. We came for a long weekend over and just wanted to explore the city centre area and relax. We especially enjoyed breakfast, wish there was a vegetarian meat option but wasn’t a huge deal as there’s so many other options. The staff/ service was really good. We had treatments and used the pool & jacuzzi which were great and easy to use - just wish that the changing areas/ showers were cleaner. We had dinner one day at Deacons and the staff were great but the food was expensive for what it was, I’d pass and go to the city centre instead next time. It was easy to take the buses into the city or just walk, took around 15 minutes and it would be lovely in the summer. Overall, would definitely visit again and recommend to others! Thanks to the whole team for looking after us so well. "
