"We had a pleasant two night stay at Auberge des Grands Bois. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It could have benefited from air conditioning but there was a Dyson Air Fan available and fortunately the weather was not too warm. The staff were friendly and breakfast was delivered to the room. "Cheap and very basic. Handy to find somewhere for £60 a night that has a fridge, mini kitchen. Underground parking cost extra. Breakfast was basic, not much choice. "For 250 euros a night this isn't good value for money, the apartments are run down with old and sometimes broken furniture. On the plus side they are spacious, but you are expected to make your own beds and strip them all after your stay as well as clean the apartment and this wasn't clear in the booking. For 250 euros a night, I would have expected a higher standard of accommodation and service. There is also no reception staff available on Sundays which makes check out challenging with bedding...

"We had an amazing time at this hotel! The rooms are impeccable, the spa, the pool and the general atmosphere is very relaxing and very welcoming! We liked the service, especially at the bar and the buffet style restaurant La Veranda.The only slight disappointment was the fact that we were not able in 5 days of our stay to book a dinner reservation at Les Fresques. The lady at reception was not helpful at all. Overall, we had a great time at this resort and this little inconvenience did not...

"Hotel and service was excellent. Stayed for two nights and had a noisy party in the room in the late evening next to us the first night. When we reported the incident to the hotel, they took care of it and was very apologetic and responsive in following up with us.Overall, a very nice stay"

Excellent stay at Mona Hotel

"We loved our stay at Hotel Mona. I highly recommend to book a room with Lakeview, amazing view of lake Geneva. Our room was spacious, it had an included mini bar at no extra charge, chocolates and wine. Breakfast buffet was very good and has plenty of options, including omelette station. There's always coffee, tea, water and juice at the lobby free of charge and in the evening they bring out a Pop corn machine and candy. It also has a Jacuzzi, outdoor seating by the lake. There's laundry facilities free of charge, just ask at the reception for the key, the laundry room also has the ice maker machine and a microwave. The hotel's location couldn't be better, 5 minutes from the train station, 1 minute to the tram stop, the Freddy Mercury statue is less than 10 minutes walk by the lake, and shopping and restaurants close by. Customer service was excellent; we hope to come back to Mona Hotel."
