"Location is the best. Any activities around are driveable. Staff was great and provided info on activities around. There was no air-conditioning, considering warm weather. Kept window/balcony door open, issue was mosquitoes. We were bitten every day. Dust wasn't cleaned around the bed and underneath. Only noticed it due to kids walking bare foot in the room. "We were so impressed with the staff's helpfulness, friendliness and accommodating attitude - we actually wished we had booked a longer stay. Then there is the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel that was outstanding, plus the loads of amenities we didn't even get to sample due to our enjoying the slopes in Garmish so much. And we also revelled in the Amazing food + beer and wine. All in all, we felt like royalty staying at our winter palace :)"

Happy to be back at Mammhofer and Oberammergau

"We’ve been here 5 times, last 3 at Mammhofer. Close to everything we want to visit, easy go anywhere in town just walking. Excellent care and attention of the owner. It is like visit friends. I think that if we comeback to the same place and plan to return next time means more than many positive words We can write or say."

Attentive friendly staff and great quiet room with nice bathroom and plenty of electric outlets - would have liked more options for English TV channels but I am really being fussy now… will definitely try to get in here if I am back to NSO "
