Stopped half way and had lunch. Bus stop right outside hotel. Hotel owner was very accommodating at breakfast and also I asked for an iron and she was very prompt at delivering. Grounds and pool area looked very nice. "

"Breakfast was good and the waitresses were very polite. But!! If you want to relax, do not come here! There are armies of a very vocal retailers and screaming children everywhere! I dislike it profoundly. Rooms are tiny and congested (The sink in the room was broken, but was fixed later). A few minute before of the opening of the outside pool, the army of retirees who are NOT staying in the hotel arrive and occupy all of the chairs. While the guests of the hotel can not get to the pool...

"The location was great . Walking distance to ferry terminal and 10 minute bus ride to station . Have stayed at the Grand Duca on 3 occasions and each time delighted with the view over the harbour . "
