I liked everything, especially how friendly and helpful the staff were. What I didn’t like was that there wasn’t much choice for breakfast. The scrambled eggs and boiled eggs were both very hard and overcooked. Otherwise, my family was happy with everything.

Hotel is located in peaceful area. Bus stops right outside and not far to walk to underground. Room was good. Pool was really good. Bar and restaurant were fine with big screen showing football. Food and drink items at reception were expensive.

At best average but good location for Messe Essen
It is a large and old hotel. Everything is mega here. In relation to the price and the distance from Messe Essen it is OK but is was warm and it smells old through the hotel. Very hard bed and no normal pillow.

Last week when I stayed I commented that there was no room safe. I said this to the receptionist who informed me that there were individual safes at reception at no cost. Simple form to complete. Placed items into safe container, and handed the key.

Do not recommend
The room smelled of mildew so strongly. It was disgusting. When I complained the staff were defensive, saying it was just remodeled. The hallways were dirty. The room was clean, but clearly damp. We were on the ground floor. The doors also didn’t lock properly. We came back after being out for the day to find we could just walk into our room without a key. Luckily nothing was stolen.

The property was pretty nice but the pillows were absolutely horrible. The mini fridge also had been left open and defrosted so it looked very dirty inside. The walls were thin so I was able to hear another guest snoring in another room and lastly there was 2 hairs in the shower that made it feel not very clean.

Camera pulita e tranquilla, ottimi materassi e cuscini! Per arrivare alla piscina bisogna attraversare il bar del albergo. Prezzi veramente buoni considerando che c'era la grande fiera EQUITANA raggiungibile in 5 minuti con la macchina. Il pareggio dell'albergo era gratis! Piccola pecca: polvere sul desk della reception.

Inchecken ging makkelijk. De kamers zijn netjes. De faciliteiten in het hotel zijn prima: zwembad was heerlijk. Massage was helemaal Volgeboekt. Parkeermogelijkheid is prima, maar jammer dat je als gast €10 per dag moet betalen voor parkeren. Het is notabene een eigen terrein.

Das Hotel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Schwimmbad ist schön, leider gab es dort auf Nachfrage nur Handtücher für 3 Euro - dies wurde an der Rezeption nicht erwähnt, sonst hätte man sein Handtuch aus dem Zimmer mitgenommen. So etwas geht leider gar nicht.
