Schönes Hotel, zentral gelegen.
Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum von Bensersiel, alles ist fussläufig zu erreichen. Die Zimmer, das Bad und der Balkon waren überdurchschnittlich groß, gut eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Einzig im Bad fehlt eine Ablagemöglichkeit, hier gibt es nur den Waschtisch. Die Dusche hat nur einen Vorhang, folglich gab es nach dem duschen eine kleine Überschwemmung im Bad. Dies lässt sich aber aushalten. Das Frühstücksbüffet ist reichhaltig und sehr gut. Hier gab es alles was das Herz begehrt. Das Servicepersonal ist nett und zuvorkommend. Nun aber zum großen Kritikpunkt: Das Hotel wirbt mit angeschlossenem Hotelrestaurant und Bar. Dies war für uns ein Buchungsgrund. Leider wurde uns bei sechs Übernachtungen drei mal mitgeteilt, daß das Restaurant geschlossen bleibt. Da dies immer kurzfristig beim Frühstück geschah, war es grade über Pfingsten ein sportliches Unterfangen, noch einen Platz in einem der Restaurants im Ort zu bekommen. An den drei Ruhetagen schloss das Hotel um 17:00 Uhr seinen Haupteingang. Der Zugang war nur noch über den Hintereingang mit Schlüssel möglich. Getrennte Unternehmungen sind dadurch sehr schwierig. Fairerweise ist hinzuzufügen, daß das Essen im Restaurant (wenn geöffnet) eine Klasse für sich ist. Am Ende würden wir das Hotel aufgrund der vielen Ruhetage nicht nochmal buchen. Für Gäste die gerne auswärts essen ist es aber eine klare Empfehlung.
