"Room was clean and nothing out of order. No idea why the bedrooms have sliding doors but then no curtains over the windows so you can see in anyway. Everything in the room if you need to cook yourself with every utensil there. Starting is basic you have the dining table chairs, a beanbag or a tree trunk to sit on we ended up just lying on our beds. The digital entry having the same code as your room worked really well and saved all the hassle of keys or keycards. The only downside was that...

"I have stayed at this hotel perhaps 15 times over the past 5-6 years. Perhaps more times. Maybe over 100 days all together. I would think they would want to think about me as a VIP guest and reach out and ask how I am doing and maybe offer something or even ask for feedback directly. It is a bit impersonal. But I like the area and it is very convenient for me. "

"My daughter recommended Frogner House and it was perfect! I had a studio and for my needs it fit the bill. I’m planning on booking here again on my next visit to see my daughter and her family! Great location walking distance to most everything in Oslo! And the bus stop was nearby as well! "

"The apartment was modern and clean just as pictured. The downside being that during our stay were on the 5th floor and the elevator was out of order. Also, the heat was on high, probably 27c or 80f. Thermostat was hidden up in a loft accessible only by a ladder and didn’t respond when turned down anyway."

"This property is self checkin with no front desk but all instructions are provided the morning of your stay. I stayed in a medium room overlooking a courtyard. It had a handy kitchenette & washing machine. It's really close to the station & the beautiful opera house. It's also close to the Hop On Hop Off bus which is handy if the weather is inclement. Highly recommend & would stay again. "

"Had a super enjoyable stay at Bob W Gamle Oslo! From its attractive Scandinavian style to its relatively prime location, high level of cleanliness, extreme cosiness, excellent condition of the apartment and great customer service, there is basically nothing I can pick on. I have nothing but full of praises for this accomm. Extremely pleased and satisfied and def value for money. Would highly recommend!"

"Great vfm small apartment in Oslo. 2 minute walk to tram/bus links to centre, 17 into centre. Download Ruter app, a must, will keep you right regarding travel. Below building is tandoori, Chinese, kebab takeaway and sit in for the Indian, too. Lots of places to buy food shopping, so close. Down side of this - corridors to apartment strong smell of cooking. "We booked two 2x bedroom apartments. One was way smaller than the other, but the smaller one I stayed in 404, first night I got bites all over my body which the pharmacist said were mites or bed begs but the cleaner checked and found no trace in the linen. I was moved to a bigger apartment which was way cleaner and way more comfy which was appreciated but just not a great way to start a trip hence the average review. The staff were helpful but still annoying that I got a reaction like that. "

Great hotel choice for city centre break

"It's our 2nd time back to this hotel for a short city stay. It's a super convenient location right next to the train station and the main city centre. The breakfast offering is extremely varied and plentiful, and really high quality which is constantly refreshed. Great for setting you up for the day. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Can highly recommend."
