There are many interesting towns around it and it is helpful for people touring the region by bicycle. Every staff member went out of their way to help us. The restaurant is wonderful. "It is in a nice location and the rooms are very clean with nice wooden furniture. The rooms are very dark and get no direct sunlight on them and lighting is not too great. Think they need to use lighter bulbs . The internet was really poor for the duration of my stay. The mini kitchen was nice and handy"

"Beautiful hotel with easy parking in the courtyard for our small campervan. Hotel initially a little difficult to find as it is hidden within tiny streets but we were pleased with the location once we had found it. There are fabulous gardens to walk around next door. Breakfast was delicious and the tall chap in the evening restaurant spoke fantastic English and was really helpful when making arrangements for a late key. I would be happy to stay again. 👍"

"I was charged for the booking by Expedia but the hotel said the room was not paid for, so we assumed it was payment on arrival and paid the hotel. When we returned home, we found that Expedia had also charged us for the same stay. Furthermore the hotel did not provide us with an official receipt, that we can remember. As a result, we are having difficulty getting our duplicate payment refunded from Expedia. We are attempting to contact the hotel to obtain a copy of their receipt to prove to Expedia that we have paid the hotel, directly, in the hope to get our duplicate payment refunded."
