"Located right off the square (look for the Triumph Arch) so that speaks for itself. Walkable to everything. Restaurants around and a tasty burek stall just 2 doors away. Staff were great and gave tips on what to do and where to go. They were also responsive via emails even before I checked in. I got an early check in on the day itself which was really appreciated. "Be mindful of parking situation. Overall Skopje is a nightmare to find parking. There is a close by parking garage where you can safely park. Overall it wasa good stay but room was too small and pillows were uncomfortable."

"Dancho was a great host, very easy to contact and really helpful and accommodating! We landed hours before check in and he let us put our bags somewhere safe whilst the cleaners prepared our room. The apartment was gorgeous, in a central location and Skopje itself was incredible. I would only ever stay here if I came back to Skopje in the future!"

"Excellent location, very walkable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We arrived fairly early in the day and they were able to get us into a room right away. The room was clean and efficient with a great shower. Breakfast was good. Highly recommend. "

"We booked two “deluxe rooms with city views” around two months in advance and a couple of days before we arrived the hotel said they could not accommodate us and moved us to another hotel with the most basic rooms and no views. Do not stay here."

"Super cool place. All the tourist things to see are only a few minutes walk. Grocery store close by. Food is good. Staff is friendly. Decor is awesome. One of the best places I’ve stayed in."

"Clean room in a great location, just by the main square. Great blackout blinds as well that helps with those of us who sleep lightly. The breakfast restaurant is lovely, directly facing the square. Would recommend. "

Eccentric with both plusses and minuses -a one off

"One has to judge things through the lense of Macedonia where in general hotels can be a bit eccentric. but this one is more eccentric than most. Positives are superb location right next to the old town, and huge rooms with great views and the awesome roof bar/terrace. Downsides are fading 80s style and no way this can be described as a 5 star service. Having said that most of the staff were friendly (mention to the good staff at the bar). Nice breakfast. Probably the worst thing was over soft mattresses (not good by today's standards) and the greenhouse effect of so much glass when the aircon was centrally turned off. So rooms were pretty warm. Open the windows and its noisy. Plus we were told no kettle or iron for "security reasons". Really this isnt 5 star service. But hey, overall go for the experience!"
