"Spotlessly clean room, delicious breakfast. Having been told the pool was open, we arrived in time for a swim only to be told it was closed again. Apology was a little half-hearted and an alternative wasn’t offered. A complimentary drink in the bar would have made this a five star rating. "

"Arrived late after a long drive, had dinner in the restaurant. Dinner was tasty (although the fish was undercooked) and the dessert was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful, although I wasn't keen being stuck with other single diners! The room was a good size, quiet and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean, one of the cleanest bath areas I have ever seen (although I am not 100% sure the toilet seat was wiped thoroughly!) "We loved the location of the property...not too far from the shops, bars and restaurants and it was in quiet surroundings. The owner was very welcoming and we felt relaxed staying there. The property was unique and very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay in beautiful Stamford."

"The hotel was welcoming with Christmas decorations. There was a pool, gym, sauna and steam room. Sea bass for dinner. I told them the room was too hot and I couldn’t turn the radiator down. Next day radiator was off and there was a big fan in my room! A very good value place to stay if you need to spend time in Peterborough."

"This was a stop-off for us on our way to visit our Grandson in Suffolk. The hotel was very clean including our double room. Our only criticism was that we were told at checkin that breakfast was served up to 11am. We went down at 10:15 only to be told that they stopped at 10:00 but that they could provide pastries which wasn't what we wanted or paid for. That being said, the Duty Manager was very good and arranged a refund straight away. Great location for access to the City !"

Nottingham Hilton City Centre Great Stay at

"Second stay with our french bulldog We stayed on Christmas Day / Boxing Day for the Pink Coconut Reunion at the Palis Nightclub Check in was quick and the receptionist can remember her name but she is South American was lovely and really helpful Hotel is in a fab location in the city centre we had everything on the doorstop It’s also pet friendly which is great over as we often travel with our dog Hotel was very quiet but it was Christmas Day Our room was huge with a nice seating area and lovely powerful walk in shower Would definitely stay again "
