Amazing stay

The staff here at sunrise inn are very respectful, polite and Genuine. The cleanliness of my room was amazing I would definitely tell family and friends to come and stay at night or two.

Very polite folks working at the registration desk. Efficient. It is obvious that effort has been made to improve the condition of the property, but there is still a lot more work to be done. There was no secondary security lock on the entrance door (it had been pulled off). The shower curtain was covered with black mold. The television worked and the AC unit worked perfectly.

Needed to stay for a few days for a job in the area. Was good for me - dunkin donuts right next to it for breakfast, walk to Cracker Barrel for dinner. Awesome… Very big room with desk and dining table and fauteuil, plus fridge for fruits, juice, and leftovers… will go there again when I’m in the area… Mentioned them in my blog tmhinpanama dot blogspot dot com, with photos…

Great location, kinda noisy at night. But just needed a place to crash overnight. It’s an older property but served it’s purpose. Sheets were clean nice wooded floors but dirty. You get what you pay for and for 67$ it works.

The pool is gone. But, they do accept pets! The price is so reasonable and the location for a mid trip stop is perfect. This is no glam, hotel. Family run. A bit dated. Tv, ac, fridge, hot water, all working. Comfy beds.

Let me be honest! I stayed for three days, and what i noticed was that the staff are nice,friendly and welcome you with a smile and the rooms are clean with nice fitted sheets and towels and calm atmosphere and free parking lot. Its a budget hotel with in your reach and you have fast food close by and also its with in the hub of other hotels surrounding and close to free way. What more to expect for the price we pay

This is an old motel which was beautifully restored by the family that owns and operates it. A motel like out of a 60s movie! Absolutely beautiful: Outside architecture and inside little architectural details. Large clean rooms, fridge, dining table, fauteuil, desk, comfortable mattress! What more could you ask for? Well, if you want to feed the large corporations, go next door. However, If you like to support a family maintain and preserve a beautiful piece of America, you’ve found the place!

The room smell like cigarette smoke, thay had mold or dark stains in the bathroom, the WI-FI kept going in & out. The door didn't close tight, the same door had a gap in the top & on the side where door lock was. Over all it was ok for the price. It was close to several restaurants. The owner was nice & friendly.

This building is practically in need of being condemned. The heating system did not work, with nighttime temps falling in the 40s. There were no blankets just the coverlet. Wallpaper falling off the walls. The bathroom was clean. The people were nice. But just terrible

Pleasantly Surprised

I was a little concerned based on the other reviews, but once I registered and got to my room, I was no longer concerned. The room was well kept and functional. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom and shower were clean and everything worked as expected with no dripping faucets or constantly running toilets. The staff was friendly and kind. It appears that some of the units are used as long-term rentals. However, there were no noise issues during the night. All I was looking for was a place to sleep and shower while spending the weekend in Elkton. This property met my expectations. The Waffle House within walking distance was a nice added perk.

Not the nicest place to stay. Property is in need of a lot of improvement and is pretty rough. Not a great place for families. Room was old and outdated. The only decent area was the overly small bathroom which was the cleanest part of the room. There is aTV with DISH so it got a good number of channels. The WiFi worked except in the last day. It is a cheap rate so sometimes you get what you pay for, although I will not make the same mistake twice. The front desk staff was polite.

You get what you pay for and I was t expecting a 5 star hotel, just needed an inexpensive place to sleep, but the place is not well maintained. The curtain in my window was loosely hanging and could barely cover my window for privacy, the shower plumbing was all loose and it was difficult to turn on the water because of this. The outside of the place was a mess. The entrance in was full of potholes, I’m glad I didn’t pay thier full rate. It is in close proximity to 3 restaurants however so easy to get food

Our room did not have a fire detector and the fire extinguisher hanging out front is expired 2023. It was extremely dirty. Holes in the wall. The carpet was disgusting. The tub did not have an anti slip mat. I was worried about my car being broken into. It was something out of a scary movie. We were having a family issue and needed a cheap hotel and that was exactly what we got.
