"The hotel is outdated and needs investment to improve the stay. The proprietor was welcoming (she unfortunately had very little English and unfortunately our German was very poor too - which made communication more challenging). She got up early to see us off and was helpful when the bed broke as soon as I lay down on it. Unfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable, the single mattresses on the double bed leaned outwards from the centre resulting in a night of perpetual fear of rolling out...

"Dejlig lejlighed, var rent og ret nyt. Der var gryder, service, elkedel, brødrister og kaffemaskine. Man kan leje barneseng mod et gebyr. Den var redt og klar til os da vi kom. Det er en meget stille by, uden supermarked. Der er en lille kiosk og en enkelt restaurant i nærheden. Så man skal have bil. Eneste var at sofaen var virkelig hård."

"Good hotel with amazingly clean rooms. Room was big and recently renovated, lots of space and nice touches like tea and coffee in the room. Big windows let in loads of natural light, and opening windows allowed fresh air which was nice. The location allows for easy access and parking, and then it's a very short walk to the centre of the historic town. Friendly team and good breakfast. As some other people commented, no, they don't speak English - but it turns out the hotel is in Germany, so don't expect it and you'll be fine. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, and a smile, a few signs and a bit of patience got me checked in very quickly. Great value, would definitely stay again. "
