"We love this hotel and have been here many times. It’s simple in terms of decor. Our bed this time (rm 403) was the most comfortable we’ve had. It’s a small room, not for too tall people as an alcove. Best location, super staff, lovely bar and outdoor seating, less than a minute to the Monastery and all the best restaurants."

The smell lingered at our luggage for days after checking out. Bathroom was very small. Hot water ran out before filling up the small bathtub. Heater was powerful, but the floor kept freezing cold. "A good stay but it would have been better if the bar was open, not just at weekends and there was an option for the evening meal (which was OK but only just). The evening meal was "almost cold" seafood soup followed by "warm" salmon. No choice. We weren't even told about it. Staff were great and what made the visit extra special was the beautiful mass the following morning at 11:00. It says it's a 13 min walk but it's not, you need a car. "We enjoyed the warm hospitality and had a relaxing stay. We had an outstanding experience-the staff were welcoming and friendly. They provided top customer service & and the rooms were luxurious, well maintained and comfortable. We paid extra for dining in and enjoyed the amenities. The food was amazing, all the attractions, accommodations, dining options, and transportation were close by. We enjoyed the hotels Spa services & recommend them highly.
