"We had a lovely stay. Room is basic but fine for what we needed. Beds are comfy but pillows not so much, 2 pillows for each person would be better. Sofa could do with a little clean. Facilities are good, breakfast was good and staff are friendly. Both times we have stayed here we have had to wait for are rooms to be ready, perhaps the hotel need to look to change their 2pm check in time that they state. But overall we had a lovely stay and will definitely come back to stay again soon. "

"Room was extremely spacious and pool area lovely. Not much choice of food and trying to get a sun lounger was impossible unless you woke up at 6am and even then majority of sun loungers with shade had already been taken. Management really need to look at how to manage this."

"Really big spacious apartments, pool area is big always managed to get a sun bed when coming back from a walk in the middle of the day. Activities for the children and the hotel cleaners were always busy offering to clean and replenish rooms"

"As I've never been to Lanzarote booked a last minute flight wothout accommodation. My first experience of thisnisland was Palmeras Gardens. Tbf, it was the only place that was for under 100quid. "The staff at the reception desk are friendly and helpful, the pool area and bar was clean and reasonable priced. The door to enter the apartment had a gap between the door and floor and on 3 occasions we had a cockroach! Not sure whether they were coming under the door where the gap was. Reception did help and acted fast when we called them to get the cockroach out. Aircon was great in the bedroom area. Shower could have done with a good clean but other than that the room was fine. "

"Stayed here about 10 times, always had a good time , shame the bar isn’t always open in the evening . Most staff are good, particularly the ones who have been there for years. Definitely improved since the first time we went"

"Overall we had a lovely week staying at the Secrets Lanzarote Resort. We award a 5* for the staff, especially Macarena, Head of Customer Experience, for her professionalism, approachability, and all round efforts to make our stay go well. Any disappointment we felt was more around the island itself, which doesn't offer a great deal for the visitor who doesn't want to sit by the pool all day every day. But we were saved by having hired a car and we explored what little there is on the island. Secrets is a 4 * hotel which is comfortable and welcoming and a relaxing place to be. "

Good spacious hotel

"After a mix up with other accommodation we had to make an emergency booking on the day. So our experience of the hotel was brief. However it was also a very pleasant one. The service from the staff at check in was spot on and took very little time. The room was surprisingly large and had everything you would need. The bed was comfy and there was a bath as well as a shower which pleased the wife!! Overall we had a short but very pleasant stay, so i would recommend it."
