"Lovely team that work at the hotel and restaurant. Great location to quickly be in the middle of Würzburg and to walk over the Main River to the other side. I was just a little disappointed with the size of my room this time, especially since I was traveling with my dog. It was a little tough to maneuver in the room with two suitcases and a dog. My room in April 2024 was more comfortable. Nonetheless, we managed and enjoyed our stay."

There’s no elevator, but that’s noted in the small print, and we didn’t mind. While there’s no air conditioning, there was a fan provided in the room, which helped keep things comfortable. "If you come with a kid, make sure that you are aware that you will be charged with extra 25 euro for a kid bed, even if you haven’t asked for it. Because the hotel thinks that it is the default setting. And a kid could consume more electricity and water. 25 euro is not a big amount, comparing to the total amount of the room. However, I really don’t appreciate that it was charged for granted, without notifying the guests when they check in, and which is not part of their reservation either....

"Great hotel in a great location. Unfortunately for us and no fault of the hotel, the road outside was closed to transport as they were digging it up with very loud machinery. This meant we couldn’t park at the hotel as previously booked and became quite stressful trying to find a public parking garage. The hotel’s location was perfect and everything we wanted to see was in walking distance. My only negative experience is the pillows, huge bags of air that no matter how many times you tried...

"Excellent hotel in a great location, easy to access the tram or better to walk along the path by the river into town. We didn't breakfast at the hotel it was a bit busy. But very good little bakery just down the lane in front of the hotel. Just be aware that the booking and assess the your room number and pin code is only available via the web page and then wasn't obvious to find, connection on 3g was very slow. It would be better if this info was in the email. "
