"This is a hidden gem! Patrick welcomes you warmly and makes you feel right at home. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. The quiet and beauty of the gardens adds to the pleasure. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner incredible. Patrick was very helpful in assisting with making reservations for wine tastings in the area. I highly recommend staying here. "

"The building and the grounds were beautiful. The decor was for us very old fashioned. A matter of opinion I’m sure and probably very French but the old pictures and stuffed animals were slightly too much. Having said that the restaurant was lovely as was the breakfast. We arrived very late and a very kind gentleman, stayed on to check us in. I’m sure in the summer months when the sun is shining and the pool is open it would be even more beautiful."

"Wonderful hosts made us welcome and able to give lots of information about the area. Delicious breakfast, swimming pool and donkeys! The bedroom was comfortable with lovely views to the donkey enclosure. Clean, modern bathroom with small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Air conditioning not effective unfortunately and outside cooking facilities require updating - lacking basic utensils and cleaning equipment- not a problem for a short stay but may be an issue for longer stays."

"Amazing great Chateau with lovely spacious rooms - off season it was a skeleton staff but they were friendly and attentive. The food was top notch - worth the trip for that alone. Golfists would enjoy it too."

"Well done to Marion and her team. They have booked us Taxis, made us Pizzas, provided local information for buses, shops and restaurants, supplied extra towels and a hairdryer. The continental style breakfast is good value in price, and the facility is clean and well managed. Everyone has spoken English, been polite, friendly and professional. "The welcome and hospitality for the Clos team is truly genuine and thoughtful. Rooms are big and comfy and the pool is a bonus. Location is an easy walk to everything and parking is right outside the door at a reasonable rate (plus Clos has a few stalls as well - but book in advance). Great visit - Merci!"
