"Stayed for three nights with a friend to explore Munich. Very clean apartments, good little kitchen. Nothing like salt/pepper/oil for basic cooking so keep that in mind. Beds were very firm and the pillows even worse. If you’re used to anything soft you won’t get that here. Rooms were also very warm, couldn’t sleep with the doona on at night unless we opened the balcony door. Apparently they’re swapping over to heating the building from cooling and the concierge said it was helpful to know...

"This was our last hotel of this trip. It was spacious and modern. However, the hotel is trying to be efficience but there are things that not wirking (yet) such as the card reader in the lift. If it works, it will make guests feel safer, not anyone can just go up to the floors. The pink laundry machine, everyhting had to go thru the receptionist while there was a QR code there but was told, it is not working. The 24hr supermarket is a good idea but as expexted quite expensive and not many...

"The place is well accessible by bus and train to the Munich exhibition. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the rooms are clean. Thanks to the convenient bus and train access, getting to the Munich exhibition is a breeze! The staff is amiable and always ready to help. Plus, the rooms are spotless and welcoming. "We stayed for a week, trains easily accessible into Munich centre and shopping areas. The only thing that let it down was cleaning and changing bed sheets is done every 7 days and if you want it done sooner you have to pay to wash sheets yourself. The pillows were very uncomfortable and the bed was just two single beds pushed together with a single duvet each which in my opinion does not match the price you pay. The little stove tops were handy and really enjoyed the addition of having a fridge....

"We enjoyed everything that was around the hotel such at the Ferris wheel and the clubs/restaurants. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The only thing is that the AC was not working in my room but other than that, it was a great experience! "

"When traveling to Munich, I was more concerned about location than amenities and when I decided to stay at Platzl Hotel, I didn’t expect much for what I paid in comparison to other hotels nearby. What an amazing find and I would recommend for anyone to stay here. It’s such a great value based on its location and amenities. The room is extremely clean, there’s excellent service, a lively bar downstairs and a sauna after a cold, wintry day. It’s in Marienplatz and therefore close to the subway line, but completely walkable with tons of restaurants and high end boutiques for some retail therapy. I’m extremely happy with this hotel. We would love to stay here again. "

Great find, Great Front of House Staff

"What a great find in Munich. First off, it's only a couple blocks from München Hbf (Munich Central Train Station) and from the Old Town where you'll see most of the tourist spots. The room was perfect sized for us with a nice walk-in shower. The biggest plus was the staff manning the front of house. Even though check-in/check-out is automated, the front of house staff was unbelievably helpful with getting us the layout of the hotel and of our neighborhood. Highly recommended!"

Centrally located.

"There are two King’s Hotels. We stayed at the King’s First. Both are owned by the same company and are very close to each other. This review is for the First. Both hotels are ideally centrally located. You could walk to most places in Munich city center from here. The Munich Hbf is also a 5 minute walk. Check in has a person on duty but can all be done with a screen at reception. Staff is very friendly. You can enjoy a relaxing drink here in the evening also while watching the street. Restaurants near this hotel are mostly “convenience” locations. Restaurants around the corner near the other Kings hotel are more formal sit down style. Will stay here again."
