The Sun Inn was all that we could have hoped for. Nice, comfortable rooms, friendly and accommodating staff and a wonderful breakfast (free). It had a cozy feel to it and we were sad to leave. It was definitely a five star for us.

The staff were amazing, great little Inn, it is a little out of the way, around 20 minutes from the city centre, however we were prepared for this as we had a hire car. Cute little rooms, has everything you need. We would certainly stay here again! Thanks team!

Good quaint lodge
Nice quaint lodge by the forest just in the outskirts of the city. Lovely garden and outdoor dining. Restaurant onsite but closes early so I missed dinner and had to order a “ Just Eat” delivery. Breakfast was great. Staff were friendly. Overall a good stay.

Sun Inn was comfortable and had a homely feel . Accommodating staff were very friendly and welcoming. Our room had a great Mira shower in the bathroom. A little bit of traffic noise from road outside meant keeping the windows tight shut at night but room did have fan. Food in the dining area was good, especially the porridge breakfast. Would stay again if in the area

Friendly staff, terrific breakfast, comfortable cosy room but can get warm and the cold shower didn't work. Bus to Edinburgh city centre will take about 45 minutes. Lovely place, would stay there again.
