"The Refuge Inn was perfect. Everyone was friendly, helpful and it was very clean and quiet. There was a nice area for picnicking and a combo indoor/outdoor pool. They had a sack breakfast, that was included, that you chose the night before and it was delivered to your door at your specified time in the morning.The croissant egg sandwiches were tasty and freshly made. The icing on the cake were the Assateague ponies that you could feed right on the property."

"Our special thank you to Kedrick and the entire group at the front desk and housekeeping. Kedrick is Super friendly and helped make our 25 th anniversary even better. He left a hand written note, a smalll Champaign bottle and was very helpful with anything we could need in the hotel and in the island Housekeeping made our room up each day and was bery clean and friendly walkways with a smile We will definitely be back and will call directly Thank you again to our new friend Kedrick! "the hotel room wasn't great, but the location is, your right on the main strip, everything is within walking distance, you also get complementary coffee and pastries from the shop next door. The best pastries on the island hands down!! The staff was wonderful. Really more like family, everyone was just so nice. I will bring my family back to the Maddox. we enjoyed it evry much.
