"Arrived at 4:15pm. Upon checking in at the kiosk I was told my room wasn't ready. I called to ask why/when it would be and the associate told me that my room had an AC issue so I would have to stay in their other bldg. No problem. Got key cards when we arrived to the other bldg and they did not work, nor did the associate know why. Sat in the lobby until 5 while she tried resolving that issue. Finally gave us key fobs instead.. those didn't work either. She got those fixed and finally got into my room at 5:10. I had a concert to get to at 6 and barely had time to get ready for it. Good location, clean enough, but not what I'd consider a relaxing stay. "

"Staff was friendly and the location is quiet and convenient. The hotel is a few blocks east of the busier parts of (east) 6th St. and close to several coffee shops, restaurants and breweries/bars and about 30 min walk to the center of downtown."

"Where to start - loved this little gem of a hotel. Check in was easy, room was clean, staff was friendly, and above all it was quiet.. even during a SXSW weekend. Maybe the best was the bed and luxurious bedding.. oh so nice! I would stay here again in a minute! Also, the restaurant on the first floor is first rate - walking distance to places like Paper Boy, Quickie Pickie (small grocery and good food), vintage bookstore and a few other neat places! If this is available, book it!"
