"We have just returned for a weekend at Holly Blue Lodge. The owners were great at getting in touch beforehand with very detailed instructions to find the place and for us to order our choice of cake! The lodge is clean and really well equipped with everything you might need. Whoever has decorated and furnished it has lovely taste - it is really pretty with a modern, chilled out feel. "

"We really enjoyed our stay. The house was like stepping back in time and the grounds were beautiful. The house had a certain charm and elegance, however, do not expect mod cons. My only concern was that I was expected to keep the Arga lit. I found it rather nerve wracking/precarious carrying ash and hot, burning coals down the corridor (through 2 doors) to put them in a rubbish bin outside. This might not be something that an older person would feel comfortable doing morning and night...

"We stayed 1 night. Our studio--sitting room, large bathroom, and bedroom--was very spacious with many amenities: coffee/water/materials for eating in. Well appointed--comfortable mattress, beautiful bedding, great bathroom--comfortable couch and small table for eating. Excellent value. More than 1 venue for food--different styles. We only sampled breakfast--the granola parfait was perfect. "
