"Most of the employers were friendly and helpful. Night shift was very knowledgeable and accommodative. Restaurant staff provided great service. It was called , but there are no portable heaters . Swimming pool and spa , but no robes or slippers in the rooms and not available upon request. That was disappointing. Good location. Quiet , safe . Easy parking. Good food choices . Some front desk gals could use attitude adjustment. "

"We arrived in the evening after a long day of driving and was greeted by very friendly staff who had already set up travel cots for our children in the room. We had a wander in the surrounding area and also found it very nice (and quiet). The room itself was nice, big and fresh. Free parking also a big plus!"

"I booked this for me and my son(16) for the weekend. When booking I entered my son's date of birth and Hotel.com allocated him as a child. When I arrived at the hotel I had to pay a surcharge as the hotel classed him as an adult. Hotel.com should review their child age policy as this left a sour note at the beginning of our trip. Definitely a good choice in Groningen

"Excellent choice and interesting concept just over canal from centrum. Well thought out. Excellentb breakfast buffet the day we ate in. Originally geared for students but now has guests of all ages. Nothing student or hostel about the faccilities or staff. Good wifi. Good mattresses. AC, which is only helpful in a brief timeframe this far north but we appreciated having it that stay. The rooms have excellent sound proofing."
