"I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel as a great place to stay ideally situated for our needs with great access to the countryside and very close to the autobahn. The staff are really helpful and happy, we had to leave early on the last day but they were really accommodating with a slightly earlier breakfast. Food was also amazing."

"A historic and picturesque place beautifully located in a parc on a hill with lovely views. Spacious single room w nice view, marvellous breakfast also offering lots of healthy items and until 11 am on week-ends. Spa area and pool were wonderful and staff was v attentive and kind. "This is a Pension, not a hotel… off the beaten track but nice staff and nice food. I believe it is underpriced at this price and if people went there they would be able to finish the renovations. If you want a nice German week end this is the place. "

"Hotel staff were very attentive and went over and above to accommodate our needs. Great atmosphere, mix of business and tourist clientele. Clean and comfortable rooms - even the standard ones. Lovely breakfast buffet too! We come to stay here regularly and will definitely do so again"

"Excellent, clean and fanctional medium-sized room & complete ensuite for 1 or 2 pers. Easy check-in process and helpful staff. Occasional but very minor noise from road traffic / train outside but not an issue. With backpack / luggage: only a 15 min walk to Koblenz Hbf. Only a 7 min walk to the SW edge of 'Old Town'. And excellent hotel: thank you! "

"We spent five nights in this unique hotel with a fascinating history. It is set by the River Lahn in the beautiful spa town of Bad Ems. The facilities such as the thermal pool were superb and we made full use of them. The staff could not have been more helpful, the room was really clean and comfortable and the food excellent. It is unashamedly old-fashioned but is full of character and we had a superb holiday there. Highly recommended!"
