"The New owner is a really amazing person, he goes above and beyond for all his guests. He completely transformed this run down property into some place you can actually look forward to staying at whenever visiting or just needing to get away. "Upon arrival i was taken aback. There was a tarp on the roof on signs of construction in the front yard. In order to get into the home you have to walk around the house to the back door. Upon entry there were signs of water damage in the ceiling. Fast forward l....had electricity upon check-in but after returning, about 5 hours later the electricity said look for me.....yeah not an ounce of electricity at the residence. We're returning for another stay!

"This hotel was everything I wanted it to be. We chose it because we were going to see a Rush tribute band at Rock n Bowl, and the hotel is literally across the street from the venue. After spending our time in this beautiful hotel, I quickly chose to rebook it for our next visit on November 30. The building and facilities were clean, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The desk clerk even went to our room when we walked across the street to Pop's Poboy's (highly recommend) to figure out why we couldn't access the TV menu. There were only three negatives, but they were very minor. Two negatives were that outside of the hotel rooms, the building was warmer than I'd want it to be, and we didn't have a trash can in the hotel room. Neither of these was terrible. Breakfast wasn't served on the Sunday that we were there, but a friend had recommended Carpe Diem, and I'm almost relieved breakfast wasn't available because we enjoyed that restaurant and highly recommend it. "
