"I cant begin to thank you both for our stay last Sunday! From the moment we came in we were welcomed into your beautiful home with open arms. Our bedroom was extremely spacious and the bathroom was beautiful. We had coffee and tea facilities for the morning & were invited downstairs for a drink in the garden before our dinner. The garden was so lovely - we also loved the chickens, cat and dog. All very friendly! The dinner was delicious - a home cooked meal with an amazing Champagne to pair. Nicholas & his wife were so so hospitable and made the end of our road trip through France one of the most memorable evenings of the whole holiday! "

A pleasant stay in a traditional family run hotel

"We had a pleasant stay here. The Hotel is a traditional family run hotel full of character and a friendly welcome. The room was clean and tidy and is well placed for exploring Abbeville along the Somme river or even handy for the railway station if you wish to explore the area further by train. The Breakfast was excellent and plenty with a good selection of juice, fresh bread, fresh Croissants, Yoghurt, excellent coffee, preserves and all in all good value for money"

A great one night stay.

"A great one night stay booked as a stopover to break up a longer journey. So easy to get to from the main highway, parking right outside our room and a very comfortable night stay. We loved the window shutters that helped make the room dark for a great sleep. Staff were incredibly welcoming and so good with children. The restaurant was great for an evening meal. The location next to the airfield was fab to watch a few small planes land and it provided some great child entertainment! "

Communication inexistant

"nous avons été très surpris par cette réservation car cela avait plutôt mal commencé, nous avions réservé et nous avons été appelé afin de nous informé que nous avions été délogé pour sur booking dans un autre établissement première classe d'Amiens cela ne posait pas de problème si nous avions eu confirmation par le second hôtel sauf que nous n'avons jamais été informé, j'ai moi même essayé de les joindre pour m'entendre dire que je ne faisait pas parti des personnes qui devait venir, la personne m'a expliqué qu'elle même avait dû mal a les joindre mais je devais être informé avant la fin de journée, j'ai une nouvelle fois envoyé un mail et pour finalement m'entendre dire que j'étais toujours prévu dans le premier bref un énorme problème de communication et d'organisation. comme je disais au début que j'ai été très surpris car l'hôtel est très bien, la chambre propre et avec douche, lit confortable "

A simple but classy hotel

"This is a simple, efficient, friendly and well-run hotel. Also has an excellent restaurant for a hotel of this size. In fact I literally just stayed at the Ibis Styles Châtelaillon-Plage which has a spa, a pool and is near the beach - a nice hotel too, but its restaurant really is pricey and mediocre. The Ibis Abbeville, supposedly a lower standard absolutely beats it hands down with regard to service and its restaurant."
