"This hotel has a wonderful location but it lacked in cleanliness. We realize that the hotel was under renovation; however, there was dirt and materials all over the floor. We believe the staff could have tidied up for the weekend guests. It was very disappointing. Also, the room was spacious but the bathroom was small; the shower leaked because the shower curtain was too short for the stall--could be an easy fix. "We liked everything about this property. We will be telling others about Candlewood Suites. We will be staying again in the future. I really loved the cuboards and the fact that they were stocked with plates, cereal bowls, salad bowls etc. Drawers had silverware for for 2 people plus can opener etc. Stove refrigerator microwave. This is top notch. Staff was so polite and enjoyable too. We came down from Cheboygan MI for a funeral this made our trip worth it. Thank you."

"The front desk staff were very helpful throughout our stay! They helped us create an IHG membership so we have extra perks for future stays, like early check in and late check out. The facility and room was very clean and the continental breakfast had a ton of options, including to-go food if you needed to hit the road right away. Highly recommend!!"

"I come hete often to Best Western to bring my grandaughters to swim in the winters months. We are a town over, we have many choices to choose from and have tried them all over the years and this Best Western is our favorite. The pool is warm, which is our reason for coming. The breakfast is good. The front desk people are very friendly! The hotel is clean. Varity of restaurants and shopping clise by. Not the fanciest or the newest but it works for us! We absolutely love it!!!"

"Our stay was amazing!! When I checked in, they gave me a different room right next to the side door so we could take our dog out!! And it was closest to the spa. They were so wonderful! The breakfast was yummy too. Is this a luxury hotel? Obviously not. But it was exactly what we needed, and the staff was caring and thoughtful and we had an excellent experience."
