"I travel a lot for both work and leisure, but Matthew at the front desk of the Loxton Brussels is easily the most helpful and friendly reception member I have ever encountered. They should write the "reception" manual based on his work. The hotel itself is lovely with large rooms, retro fitted but very clean and everything you could need. 10 mins walk to the Grand Place but away from the noise etc. and 5 mins walks to Brussels Nord station. I would stay there again without hesitation. "

"Great standard Hilton, just 10 minutes walk from the main square and was able to leave the car parked outside the hotel for the entire 24 hour stay. Would recommend as a stop over spot for Brussels!"

"We had a nice stay. It was a little off the beaten path so if you want to stay in the center of everything this is not it. It was quiet. We went down for coffee after breakfast was closed and they were very friendly and we got our coffee even with the bar being closed. We would stay here again. "

"Beautiful place , cafe and snack bar for an add on perk. very clean and smells good. The best is , no plastic water. Hotel provide a glass bottle with and option to fill regular of carbonated water(nice) . Overall , love the staff and would stay again "

"Excellent location close to train station and public transportation (tram and buses). Close to lots of restaurants and main shopping venues. Room was reasonable size but bathroom could be updated. The temperature in the room and floors is too high and even with AC, could not reach an « acceptable » temperature. There is a gym with limited equipment (and again very hot). Excellent breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. "

"Stayed in "private family room" which was basic but comfortable and clean. Hostel common areas were spacious and clean. Hostel was quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Area around hostel is a bit sketchy, but not bad."

"hotel was clean receptionist was polite and a fast check in. the area is considered unsafe but honestly just keep your wits about you and its friendly enough not all that bad more interesting. great for finding party products. we ate nearby and there was lots of selection. i would stay again if I returned to Brussels. "On the outside it appears like a nice place, but the rooms are old and rickety, the shower is very cramped, the bathrooms are on odd half levels that you have to wander around to find. I happened to have very friendly roommates for the nights I was there, and the lockers for things were very small---too small to fit any carry-on luggage in. You just have to trust that no one will go through your things. The area is close to major shopping centers, which is great because there's a lot of food...

"The location is extremely close to all beautiful attractions. Walking distance to malls and historical places; chocolate shops. The stairs are so sharp and our room was on 4 th floor. I made a booking almost 1 month ahead and I am almost 60 years old. I asked them to give us a lower level room. No availability. And the toilet was outside. Make sure you don’t get the 4 th level."

"Easy to reach from the tram. Arrived late & email provided details of how to get key. Room good size and clean with twin beds. All a bit tatty. General area doesn’t have the nicest feel. Bit run down, dirty & graffiti, but no problems."
