"This was a very convenient place to stay outside Ljubljana! There's a lovely restaurant across the street, so that's super easy. There are a few grocery stores that were a quick drive away as well. Hotel had a nice bathroom and a desk to work at if needed. There's a bit of an outside space out back to sit and also some things for kids to do if you're traveling with kids. Parking was totally fine. Great place! "

"Exterior looks like a building occupied by punkers. Reception was tiny and busy, but effective. We got a day short on our keys, but it was fixed quick enough. Rooms were clean, cool, quiet, and functional. Nothing fancy at all but we had a very good sleep over 3 nights. Showerhead was terrible."

"I felt like this experience gave a glimpse into maybe how locals live. It was a very good size place to stay. The breakfast was my favorite one after being in Europe almost 3 weeks. Crepes- yum! The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but it was a charming place and I’m glad we stayed there! Nice to have parking taken care of too. "

"Our stay at Viva rooms was good. The location between the train station and the tourist areas was great. The host was excellent at responding to messages and met us at the hotel. She was really nice and even recommended a book store for us to find a special book. The room was in ok condition, but the shower needed some work (some mold growing on the floor tiles around the drain). The bed was large, but a bit too hard for my taste. "Overall good location for heading to center of town for dining and beverage. Convenient to major bus and train station Staff very helpful and welcoming. comfortable accommodations but there are no amenities at all. No laundry facilities, self laundry is a 17 minute walk. No hairdryer in room. Also Would have been nice to have a common area for brewing hot water for evening tea and refrigerator to hold food because restaurant is not open every day. "

"Quaint country inn in an adorable town with a pizzeria and bar. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The manager and restaurant server are friendly and helpful with great English speaking ability. I recommend this place for a quiet and safe stay. "

"Excellent location with river view in the heart of the old center. Even though it was located on a busy river walkway the double window system kept it quiet and comfortable. Luka, the owner I dealt with, was responsive and friendly. Excellent place within walking distance of most everything to see in Ljubljana. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking, although the dining out is great. Shower was strong and hot. "

"My mom and I had such a lovely stay at this little place in the mountains. We booked because it was very close to the airport and she had an early flight. The accommodations were amazing for the price and the staff were so sweet and accommodating. We had dinner as well and were both very happy with our meals. Definitely would book again if I’m in the area! "

"I had a very good stay in Studio 3. The studio was spacious and very well appointed and very clean. A special mention for the bed which was the most comfortable bed I have slept in for years! The wet room/ bathroom was fabulous too as was the layout of the whole place including the well equipped kitchen with excellent fridge. The reason for 4 not 5 stars was because of the annoying noise from a nearby air extractor or air conditioning unit which disturbed my sleep on my last night in...

"Everything was fantastic. All the little mod cons like HDMI connection in the wall to use my Firestick, USB C charging points, even a UK plug socket in the wall. I had the castle view room, which i only saw for one day because of the fog, which was the same for the easy bus journey to Lake Bled. I will just have to return again. Ljubljana is stunning!!"

Perfect stay time and time again.

"This was our second time staying at this hotel, and both times were amazing. This hotel has proved to be consistently one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed at. It is extremely comfortable, clean, updated, and the staff are beyond friendly and helpful. The location is also perfectly centralized to most things in Ljubljana. I can not recommend this hotel enough. "

"On arrival, reception said they had a maintenance issue so had upgraded us to the sister Hotel Union next door. Therefore my review is really for that hotel, but the two hotels share some facilities e.g. swimming pool and will have some shared standards and staffing. Service was excellent throughout, especially when they found my husband's lost property. Breakfast very good, with great quality and selection of food. Location is brilliant, walking distance from sights, shops, restaurants and station. We really enjoyed our stay."
