"We picked this hotel as a stop off on the way to our skiing holiday. We wanted somewhere quiet with good parking, the hotel fulfilled both of these requirements. The hotel staff was very helpful, with check in and out being quick and hassle free. The room was nice, with a second bedroom for the children. Only two small things spoilt the room, the ash tray on the balcony had not been emptied and a light switch was hanging off the wall. As we were only stopping for one night, these wasn’t issues...

"Unbelievably we arrived after 10 and couldn’t check in. There was no email from them telling us this and a standard confirmation with this important detail hidden in the small print. There is no one there overnight God only knows what would happen if there was a fire! Really ridiculous."

"Beutifully renovated authentic location. Spacious rooms. Very friendly personnel. Room was changed to accomodate a lengthy customer, a better fitting bed was offered. Top service. The restaurant at the facility is worth a try. Not cheap but good food in a nice environment. Make a reservation up front!"

"The hotel was excellent in facilities and friendliness, roomy, spacious with good breakfasting facilities too. However it is a bit remote and not entirely suited to my requirements but the staff were very understanding and allowed me to check out early, unless you are on a hiking trip you would really need a car."

"The family room is really simple, 3 stars max (probably 2 is more accurate), but clean, no issues. You will hear water running if you open the windows (It's located creekside). But the owner is fun and welcoming, it's quiet, despite being close to railroad (German trains are really quiet, and there are very few of them). "I arrived quite late and the receptionist informed the kitchen to stay open a bit longer to accommodate my needs, this was greatly appreciated. the staff were well trained and very courteous. the hotel was clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay there again when in the area. "

"We were unfortunate to have gotten a room above the restaurant, where until late at night a party took place. This room should not have been rented out, certainly not as a 4-star hotel room. All the lady at reception could offer was the remark that they could of course not leave the hotel empty when a party takes place. Also a minibar was missing in the room. The room was simply not worth the money and this was a once but never again experience. The two other nights and most of the other staff...

"I was travelling for business alone and stay in many hotels. It was clean and tidy but I expected more for the price - the room was a bit small but the shower was good(the Simpsons towel in the bathroom was an interesting touch). I needed wifi and it was really bad. The breakfast was really bad and consisted of a tomato, two slices of bread , some egg and some weird cold hamburger . Given a choice, I wouldn't choose to stay here again"
