"With intermittent strong monsoon rains and winds, the water came thru the doors in the common areas. We absolutely loved the food and staff and never thought twice about eating anywhere else. John, our host was absolutely the best! Kind, perceptive and always helpful. Admin was also incredibly responsive via email and ensured that all of our requests and inquiries were promptly addressed. "Very unique experience. Snorkeling was excellent, even saw a whale shark while snorkeling. Scuba was luxury service and great marine life. Staff was great. Room was fantastic. Would recommend this property very highly."

"Truly the best hotel in Maldives. It was the first hotel I've been in Maldives and after that I've seen another 5 hotels: Cheval Blanc, Jumeirah, One&Only, Conrad and etc. It is my second time in Soneva Fushi and I need to say that this hotel is the best on every aspect. World-class SPA, beautiful snorkelling all around the island, huge territory, very private villas, extremely satisfied and professional staff and much more. You can find a lot of components on the other islands in Maldives, but...

"The privacy on the beach, the views were stunning, the marine life was fabulous. The staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Our Villa was a little tired. The beds were rock hard and dips in the mattresses. Many tiles in the bathroom had cracks. The wooden floor was tired. Overall though a fabulous resort."

"Stunning location, attentive staff who just avoid in going too far. Excellently maintained facilities and as a vegan, the range of choice of food was exceptional. Room was beautiful (though I caught my foot on an ill-maintained wood plank by my pool causing a large splinter). So much about our trip was absolutely perfect. Highly recommended "

"The four season transportation only option was way overpriced. Much higher than other public options. And its not much better. Making client to subsidize your own airline and boats are bad for clients. Should have offer the regular seaplane and boats options. "
