The amenity is lacking a few things (for example, it tells the guest to wash dishes and put them away but doesn’t provide a clothe to dry them). Also, the instruction isn’t super clear. The instruction reads to leave the key on the table when checking out (that’s what it says literary in English), when in fact you need to lock and put the key in the lockbox as one example. "My wife and I loved our time at this property. It has a very cute garden where we would sit and have tea. We also enjoyed the art display in the living room, which was all made by the host’s mother. The property is in an area away from the city where we could get a taste of everyday life in Japan, so we were delighted every time we walked to and from the train stations. "It's a very beautiful, big and clean house in Japanese style. Exactly was I was looking for! It looks better in reality, than on the photos. The owners are very nice! They even brought us lot's of fruits. I would like to come and stay there again! Thanks a lot!"

"We booked a one night stay for our short trip to Nara. I wish I knew how beautiful this hotel was, I would’ve stayed one more night. The room is well decorated, simple and elegant. It has a sound system that connected to a iPod with music, but I plugged it into my iPhone (lightning port) to play nature music off YouTube. It was rare to find such a spacious room in Japan. The view from the window was everything you’d imagine of Nara: a small pond with deer hanging out on the side. I could stay in this room and relax all day. I would not think twice to book this hotel again when I return to Nara."
