"We love our room at the Punga Grove! It looked back onto a forest. It felt very chalet like!"

"Bonus of food cart with whitebait fritters after 3pm. Cabins had tea and coffee but no milk. No supermarket in Punakaiki so bring food if you want to use kitchen in cabin. "

"Proprietors were wonderful. In our unit we had a clean large room that had a hot plate for cooking however no sink. "

"My only regret was not booking more than one night here. It was a great property with comfortable amenities and so much green space for the kids to run around and play in. They also loved the sheep and cows on the property. The staff was super friendly and helpful too. "

"Very cool converted fire station with old trucks outside. We reserved a 3 bedroom unit and the place was spotless. Very convenient to walk the town or go to the beach. Glow worm dell was walkable as well, but some of it on a busy street. The only thing I wish it had was a second bathroom as the one we stayed in can fit 6 people. The firefighter statue in the lobby startled us a couple of times when leaving our room at night :)"
