"My stay at the Scandic Grand Central Helsinki was wonderful. I was between a flight from Helsinki and a train to Rovaniemi and it was so conveniently close to where you can get the train from the city to the airport and all the longer trains, both at the Central Station. "New, convenient hotel right on top of the subway entrance. Easy acccess to areas of town with multiple bars and restaurants within 2 or 3 blocks. Hotel room was spacious for the price and everything was in good order and clean. "

"Beautiful hotel in an ideal location for exploring Helsinki. Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. Food, both breakfast and dinner, was delicious. We found the rooms too hot, but better than than too cold when visiting in the winter. We would definitely stay again."

"It’s a really nice hotel with good amenities. The sauna was great and the breakfast was wonderful. The only thing that disappointed me was no furniture like a dresser in the room to clothes in during our stay. That was true at another hotel in Copenhagen so maybe it’s a Nordic thing. "

"The only thing that would have made it a better stay would have been a sauna that we both could use together. He is blind and I have never been in one before. We had breakfast every morning at the Finca las Ventanas cafe on the ground floor, excellent food. Very close to tram stop, just around the corner, two grocery/convenience stores nearby, K Market and Alepo. We walked almost everywhere."

"Unbelievably convenient - down a hallway from baggage claim through a food court/small shopping area for convenience. Super clean, comfy room, gym was really nice! Would 12/10 recommend this hotel! I had another reservation somewhere else on my way back and I switched to stay at this hotel again. "

"The health club/spa is worth the money because of the proper Finnish saunas and the atmosphere. Nice breakfast with quality vegan options. Room is compact and well thought through. Very convenient with 15-20min drive from Helsinki-Vantaa airport."
