"Absolutely LOVED my stay at Cherrystone. I visited from the US. My brother and sister live in Fouriesburg. I could not say enough about how comfortable and clean and spacious and welcoming this place is. They even have a cat visiting every day. One of the rooms has its own bathroom and is separate from the other 3 bedrooms. The house has 3 bathrooms, all so beautifully decorated. We spent most of the day outside on the sunny porch. "Madeleine and Nereo were very helpful and welcoming! we had plenty of space and enjoyed the verandah with views of the mountain.We were close to town and could walk everywhere in Clarens. "

"Même si ce n’est pas de leur faute, je suis tombé sur la nuit où il n’y avait pas d’eau chaude (toute la ville d’après le proprio), et le matin carrément pas d’eau froide ni chaude...Certes le proprio n’y peut rien mais un geste aurait pu être fait...bonne chambre hormis une salle de bain assez vieillotte. "

"We loved our stay here. We stayed in Sentinel Rm. 4, which was large and comfortable. The views from the lodge are fantastic. We ate breakfast and supper each night at the lodge restaurant and were happy with our meals. Like most visitors here, we were here to hike to the top of Tugela Falls via the chain ladders. The hotel handled the logistics for us--the transport to the trailhead and packed lunch. The next day, we had a massage at the spa located on the property, which was also amazing. "
