"This is a little gem. The word "hostal" is not indicative here. It is more like a small boutique hotel. Yes, the rooms are small. Also decorated BEAUTIFULLY. Great attention to detail. Lots of free parking in the park one block down. The owner is terrific and helpful. Everything is immaculate and new. Great air conditioning. We loved it!!!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Tambor del Llano! The inn, grounds, and farm are lovely and peaceful. We spent 2 nights and we wish we had booked at least 3 nights. We rode their wonderful horses, ate delicious meals, and truly enjoyed just spending time at the inn and and on the grounds. We could explore the fun and busy nearby white villages, but we were always so happy to return to our "home" at Tambor. "

"Stayed for one night in this Morrocan style designed hotel. The staff was very friendly, and unlike in many other hotels in the Andalucia, the owner spoke perfect english. There was no space outside the hotel to park our car but there's an underground car park around the corner where you can leave your car for a discounted price. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was very comfortable. The old town was within a walking distance from the hotel."

"This place is hard to rate as it really depends on what you are looking for. Location is 10/10. We loved our stay here. Our goal was to be upon the mountains to do that and this place was perfect. we did several hikes directly from our front door. The views are spectacular, and you are well out of the hustle bustle of the city. There are not a lot of restraunts and you will need to get food and the small stores in ubrique. "For the price, you could not go wrong. It was cleanthe host was very amicable. There are also couple of restaurants just outside the property, which was very convenient. We only spend one night on our way from Caminito del Rey, so after a long hard day, this place was more than perfect. Will definitely recommend it for a short stay. "

"This hotel is probably the highest building on a mountaintop city. Staff was excellent, food was good, and views were breathtaking. Parking is avail in moderation. But like a lotnof historic Europe, it is not for the faint of heart. The road is only wide enough for one way traffic and alternates directions with the use of a traffic light.
