"Staying in a Chateau; very beautiful properties and friendly staff"

"The hotel and location is very good,sadly due to my error in not checking the date of our check in for 1 night ,we turned up on the day I thought I had reserved but in reality was 1 day late according to my online booking The hotel charged me for both the incorrect night and the actual night of our stay . as it is an expensive hotel it has cost us a lot of money and distress of my own making. "Nice place for overnight stay. Reminded me of a dorm room in college. Gated property so very safe. Owners are very nice. No food on property except breakfast at 0830am for 12 euro. No coffee or fridge in your room. So eat lunch and dinner before you arrive . Bring your own drinks or wine and food. Great place to stay to move on to your next destination like to Perigeuax. "

" I arrived by car in the evening. The hotel is poorly signed and I had problems locating it. Otherwise nice location with pleasant staff and great rooms. For the number of rooms I find 2 elevators too little - too much waiting time. "
