"It's always a pleasure to stay at Royal DeCameron. Security, a variety of dining options, family friendly, etc. However, if you have a light sleep, it'd be a little hard since there's music until about 2 am (at the disco) and people start working very early. Thus, if they'd invest in room isolation, that would be great. Moreover, I don't recommend leaving your valuables without security. Use the safe or carry your lock if you don't want to have a bitter experience. "

"Gorgeous grounds, wonderful staff, safe location, quiet and removed from downtown noise. Rooms had a tropical rustic vibe. The hotel was exactly what I was looking for and it was great! Peaceful yoga outside for my family in the garden facing the sea, will be one of my favorite memories. Instructor was great and super nice. My children all got massages, also wonderful. "We checked out after one sleepless night. Our room was so loud inside it felt like we were in a nightclub, but worse, because it was a mixture of 3-4 nearby clubs and bars music. The hostel itself hadn’t even started any live music yet when we arrived. I don’t know how the Hostel can actually charge money for this room, let alone nearly 100 dollars. The atmosphere was dead, the hostel is really big and not particularly communal. You’d be much better off in a cheaper and smaller place 5-10...

"Balsa Surf Camp is like staying with family! It has a wonderful atmosphere, and the location is nice and quiet within a very easy walk to town. For a surfing adventure, everything is at your fingertips and the team are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed the daily yoga, thank you to the wonderful instructor Darcy Lynch. I will visit Montanita again, and I wouldn't think of staying anywhere other than Balsa. "
